From a geographical and alumni base, it is far better for BYU to be in the PAC-12, but as politics creep more and
more into college athletics, I have a feeling that we're going to feel very fortunate to be in the Big 12 instead

Well, that's a myth you'd like to believe but it isn't true. Utah & Colorado are right in the middle of the Pac.
