Broken record on backup qbs. SDSU did not expect him to play
That was a big part of his success. It’s not like he tore it up. 19/32 for 153 isn’t lighting the world on fire. That’s less than five yards per attempt. Not a good number. Wait until he plays a decent defense that has scouted him. A lot of backups have success when they come in unexpectedly. It’s what he does when his tendencies have been studied that really matters. Rising doesn’t all of a sudden create talent at wr for Utah
