So the guy that was beat out by Brewer was going to somehow do better than Brewer...
Or his OL was going to somehow magically block better? The emotional stuff works for a series or 2 but beyond that... it just doesn't fly. How was Rising going to stop BYU's offense from ramming the ball down the defenses throat?
Rising is a more mobile QB, which also means that Rising wouldn't have hit some of the passes that Brewer made during the game. Utah still has problems on offense and defense... regardless of Rising starting or not. Brewer beat out Rising for a reason... the only reason Rising looked better against SDSU was that the SDSU defense was game planned to stop Brewer, not Rising.
