I think that a good solution for this to still represent in SL Co. But keep the

Car safe would be, fly your car Y flags on game day but to also not have a license plate holder or decals on the car, but rather, have the Y car magnets that you can put on but remove when parking at a grocery store or when going to an event downtown, etc. Next time I purchase a nicer, newer car, that's what I will do on that one.
