Residential Living Standards still apply. They are just removing the landlords

from the equation:

There will still be visiting hours, etc. in the rules for BYU students to follow. It's just that students no longer are required to live in housing where the landlords enforce those rules (and if they don't it's on themselves to self-police I guess).

Well, they did have the 2-mile radius rule. So that sort of capped the number.

That rule was implemented about 15 years ago IIRC. Only allowed "BYU-approved"
