If I, as a player or coach, catch on to the fact that every time I hear the number 7 there’s a run up the middle, am I just supposed to ignore that and call a pass blitz instead?

Now, using digital methods to spy on the other team is illegal, but knowing that whenever Team A holds up the blue poster board it means pass is not illegal.
