2014: BYU won some games and were rolling. Ranked. People talking. Then one injury and the wheels fell off. It is clear Jaren Hall isn’t healthy (I think there is more to the “wind knocked out” story as he grabbed his ribs after a QB run vs Utah and then he didn’t enter the game vs ASU with the game in the balance). I like the QB depth more than 2014 but feel like this team is on the edge and one more injury will de-rail it. I hope it doesn’t happen vs Utah state again.

2015: BYU beat NE and BSU, played UCLA close and everyone thought (me included) they were for real only to get demolished by Michigan. Idk how good Arizona, Utah, or AZ St end up being but I don’t think they are going to be that great when it’s all said and done. Makes me feel like BYU is a little fools gold.

I hope I am wrong and this season just is special but I can’t get these nagging thoughts out of my head. I guess that is what happens after years of being a BYU fan.
