I'd love for you to be right

I just find it hard to believe that the CFP has any sense of logic. In that scenario I could see them justifying putting #2 B1G team in that last spot or somehow putting 1 loss (us) AZ st in and saying that they had better wins later in the season against Oregon that redeemed themselves - Stupid, I know, but I could totally see it.
