Could BYU beat Clemson today? Maybe. Maybe not. BYU has beaten everyone—good and bad—on their schedule so far this year (there are no fluky wins). Clemson has not, so at some point it makes sense they actually drop significantly in the rankings because of actual results, not stay buoyed up because of prestige only.
