This kind of statement is wrong. It's not weird at all.
I've seen other message boards. CB is, by far, the best thing out there. And as much as we discuss UU, USU, BSU, and CFB and NFL in general, I think we could actually have a lot more fan diversity on here if El Jefe tried advertising at all to other fan bases. I don't post much on other fan sites, but not because I don't want to interact with their fans. It's more because I hate navigating their old style message boards.
In addition to that, CB has a lot of great, insightful posters. Yes, some have been driven off. But by and large we've got a really great community here. I don't think another sports centered online community in the world has what we have. There have been too many incidents for me to even remember, let alone list here, but as a small example, CB's response to Todd Noall recently. That kind of thing just doesn't happen anywhere else.
