Teams from rising over a season, but teams with a history did so more easily. So a newbie program that got hot one season could rise through the rankings, but the next year they could get swallowed up quickly by historically stronger programs if in season two the newbie programs cannot continue to perform at the higher level. So if they go 9-3 they could lose more traction however season three if they repeat that 9-3 they don't sleep as much compared to historically strong programs. It's all algorithm i created back when Total Blue Sports was a thing. I might dust it off and test it out.
