It’s not a fast drive but it’s scenic. Easy day trip from Miami to key west. We did a fun half day fishing charter in marathon and took our snapper to the restaurant next to the harbor and they cooked it for our dinner. Even my wife enjoyed that day and it was pretty cheap and no rough water.
