Lewistown Montana is pretty friendly.
But it'll take you 2 hours to get to a Walmart. Also it's 20 below during the winter. Lived there about 10 years ago. Moved to Box Elder County, UT. Has a similar feel as far as friendliness and community, but the Walmart is much closer.
