I fully disagree. Last year the 60 games were not enough. I don't mind if they
shorten the season, but shortening to 72 games is too far.
Last year, it wasn't clear that the best teams made it all the way to the playoffs and through (other than the Dodgers). I think this year has shown that to some extent.
One of the reasons the other sports have fewer games is the physical demands of the sports. Other than pitchers, that's not as big of a deal in baseball.
If they shortened the season, it would need to be no fewer than 100 games.
