It is possible, for example, for BSU to finish a 12-1 season and ranked top 12 losing in their CCG and have say Cincy go 10-3 with a CCG win and be ranked say 14 a d Cincy would go. You have to be a conf champ to qualify for that spot no matter how high they are ranked.
