RE: Why no one likes Boise State
I’ve lived in Salt Lake City for 5 years and Boise for 9. Boise State fans have been 100 times more enjoyable to be around than Ute fans. I am so surprised when I hear others disparage Boise State. Our experience has been nothing but positive. I’ve been to all the games at Boise for the last 9 years and not had a single negative interaction with a fan. In fact, they’ve been fun to be around. In SLC, my kindergartner got his BYU hat taken off his head and stomped on while the kids yelled how much they hated BYU. He didn’t instigate this. Half our ward wouldn’t associate with us because of our allegiance. It was sad. I’m happy to cheer for BSU when they aren’t playing us.
