My point is that the Jazz have a current 3-color palette (navy/green/gold) that is cohesive, connects with the team's history, and is easily recognizable. It is simply not accurate to throw every primary and accent color ever worn by the Jazz onto a single image and then say "See! The Jazz don't have a color scheme."
My secondary point is that it makes no sense to fix a perceived problem of too many colors by introducing yet another primary color. If too many colors is a problem (a "problem" that many teams and players have welcomed - alternate jerseys drive merchandise sales and are often well-received by both players and fans), that "problem" could be easily solved by doing away with alternate jerseys and consolidating around a particular set of colors (such as the primary navy/green/gold that have been used for the last 10 years).
The D-Will blues aren't Jazz colors anymore; neither are the purples, aquas, blues and browns from the late Stockton era. I don't care whether or not the team continues to wear those jerseys on occasion, but it's an inescapable fact that they're a part of Jazz history without being a part of the current Jazz brand. And adding yet another color palette to the mix won't change that.
