A few things that help:
1. Rebecca was NOT the one with the idea for them to date. She didn't groom him or coerce him. Her boss role did not influence the relationship.
2. They fell for each other first on the app where there was no power of one over the other.
3. It was Sam who pushed for the relationship at first, Rebecca was hesitant.
4. He's not really a subordinate. He's a star player with lot of power.
Very different from a CEO dating a younger female employee.
