woulda hit a home run the next pitch. But it doesn’t change anything Re whining. In any sports contest there’s a dozen missed opps due to not executing that have far more impact on outcome than bad calls. It’s more a fan thing than player or coach thing. Filed under things fans say to make themselves feel better. Very rarely do I get overwrought Re a missed call, maybe if it takes points off board on a crucial late play, even then, gotta man up & accept it.
