It’s why we stall in the redzone, where you only have traffic. He hasn’t been quick enough on his reads to spot the open windows between coverage, and to quickly make a decision to pass out to a screen or curl when they close, which is why his best throws are deep or high.
I’m very much a believer in Hall’s potential. But it certainly is a question whether or not the offense is currently better suited to his strengths downfield and running, or the strengths of a guy like Baylor who at minimum can make quick decisions behind a suspect line. I don’t have the answer to that.
