My first thought when he was hired was: why is it impossible for him to hold a job for longer than a year?
I get that coaching is a fickle profession, but geez.
2nd thought was: why are none of the staffs he coached WITH or UNDER previously reaching out to him for his services?
3rd thought, upon hearing him interview: man this dude seems pretty boring and dull. DIM even. Not saying I know anything about him one way or the other, that was just how he came off in an interview.
Between Funk and Clune, I do not think BYU made strong hires last year. Feels like they just took guys off the scrap heap.
