This isn't a good comparison at all. Coaches are experts going up against other experts.
In the case of BYU vs Baylor, their coaches are supposed to be better experts than BYU's, they took 2 of our best from just 1 year ago, and probably doubled their salaries. They have better talent top to bottom. That's like a dentist trying to do the same job with inferior equipment.
Reality is people need to relax. Sitake acknowledged they need to do a better job as coaches. BYU's coaches had us ranked #11 at the end of last season. #10 at one point this year and still in place for a possible top 25 finish with not a lot of returning experience. My guess is that none of you critics posting here are near their level of experts in your respective careers.
Be a BYU fan. Let the coaches coach, let the players play. I love BYU, I go into every game hoping/wanting to win, but I understand we are underdogs and I love it. If your expectation for our coaches or players is perennial top 25 talent/depth/coaching you've chosen the wrong team to cheer for
