looked like in the Utah game? They played lights out and absolutely stifled the run. And then Pili and others go down, and we have to change our scheme and all of the sudden we can't stop the run anymore. It's not a strength and conditionimg problem. Football is a tough sport. Guys will get injured every year. It's a depth problem. P5 programs have the depth to throw a 4 star guy in there to plug the hole when a guy like Pili goes down. We don't. It's why we can have a season like 2019 where we look like world beaters at the beginning of the season, beating USC, etc... and then lose to Hawaii at the end of the season. Thankfully, with the P5 invite we will hopefully be able to see a bump in recruiting so that we can build that depth and be able to keep dominating throughout the entire season even if we have a key player go down.
