they're looking to hire. He was hired out of BYU/construction management just last year, they love him and love the BYU grads. They offered him a great salary and a $50k bonus if he stays at least 5 years....that's how competitive it is to get and retain good hires.

Don't know if your guy is open to relocating, and the bay area isn't the cheapest place to live, but maybe there's an option there if he isn't tied to where he's living now.
