TT is a given as they are closest to us period.
Both divisions are going to want a foothold into the recruiting grounds of Texas, so each division likely gets two Texas schools.

TCU would make the most sense, but for whatever reason they hate us. In that regard, they might lobby to be in the other division. Baylor is geographically similar, so they would make the next most sense.

Kansas and KState will want to stay together. With the other division filled with the three eastern schools plus two Texas schools, that means putting them in our division.

So now we’re down to splitting up OKST and ISU. Geographically speaking, OKST probably goes in the western division.

So: BYU, Baylor, TT, OKST, Kansas, and KState in one division.

ISU, TCU, Houston, Cincinnati, UCF, and WVU in the other.

Those seem decently balanced both geographically and competitively in both football and basketball.
