Tell him #10 on the other team gets really nervous as well. I think it is self
inflicted pressure to do well. For my son, I think he thinks too much about screwing up. I have told him the more he thinks about the good plays he has made in the past and what his assignments are, he gets less nervous. Thinking about screwing up isn't productive.
