My guess
You don’t have a singular finding. There will likely be evidence of labral tearing, some rotator cuff tendinopathy/tears, some AC joint arthritis, and probably some bursitis. Shoulder MRIs often show anywhere from 3 to 6 different, but common things in these cases. I call it the “40 year old shoulder syndrome” or the “50 year old shoulder syndrome” depending on your age.

It’s up to the doctor to figure out which of those things, if any, are the cause of your problems and what should be done about it.
