Sometimes it takes up to the third inning to get back to the DH spot
With a simple double-switch this is meaningless except for starting a short stint reliever

That will still be there in the later innings, but not the 4th inning. I guess some people like that.

they already created a rule to limit that, if you don't know, every reliever has to face a minimum three batters before

That is another idea. 5 pitchers available unless there is an injury or extra innings.

It won’t change starter workloads. It will change starts by 1-2 inning relievers
