Actually he's a better defender than CB gives him credit for being
..during games last year with Utah and Pepperdine Knell drew the toughest assignments and was pretty effective.
He guarded Timmy Allen of Utah and Kessler Edwards from Pepperdine and both players had tough outings. Edwards in particular was fresh off of a 37pt game in their prior game. Both players struggled to hit shots vs Knell. He's physically very strong which helps him to be able to guard bigger players like Edwards (6'8") or Allen (6'6").
