I also just use OneNote to track stuff that doesn't make it into a Jira ticket, I've found it's easiest if I keep a separate section or page for ToDos so they stay in one place and don't get lost in meeting notes.

Clean email inbox, and each email is a to-do. I take notes in an email and send it to myself to add a to-do

Clean email would be nice but getting a company to allow it is not that easy. If I were to set it up it would breach

Why? I have lots of litigation holds on communications, my attorney work product, etc. They are just filed in a folder

You are sharing data with a third party (Clean email) that is usually a violation of company software & confidentiality

OneNote with separate tabs for To Dos, meeting notes, etc. It's not perfect but works better than anything else for me
