Some fans feel like Bronco burned bridges. I have heard nothing, but good from administration, coaches, players about the way Bronco handled the parting. Anyone who feels poorly about someone leaving an employer to triple their income doesn't understand employee employment decisions. I have had 1 company try to recruit me back repeatedly, because I did great work there and maintained great relationships. I have more than once been offered jobs, almost without interview, because decision makers had worked with me at previous companies and knew I did good work. Bronco has a good relationship with most of the players, coaches and admin at/ from BYU.
Yes, many companies will cheer a previous employee, assuming the relationship ended professionally.
