BYU undergrad and UVa grad, but I also lived on grounds as a toddler while my dad attended Darden. When I returned for law school, a number of members of the church remembered me and my family from our time there. two decades prior. Also funny: 5 years ago my brother visited Darden and attended a class. The professor asked him to stand up and introduce himself. It turns out the professor (then ancient) remembered teaching my dad in 80'-82'.
While attending law school, attended multiple football games each season and 10+ basketball games each season. Can't beat ACC basketball (though I have recently become a BIG 12 fan...).
My fandom for BYU football fandom hasn't waned during independence. I'm eager for BYU to join the Big 12. I don't get excited about Utah playing UCLA or any team other than BYU. I wish BYU had been invited to the PAC-12 instead of Utah. I'm glad the ACC and other conferences have considered BYU to be a P5 opponent for OOC purposes.
