Cool. I have a question: Is it common practice to use recycled parts to repair

cars? My sunroof shattered. Progressive opted for recycled part instead of new glass to save money. End result for me is it took twice as long to source the used part as opposed to just buying an available new one from the manufacturer.
I feel dissatisfied with my insurance company.

Very common. It'll often be called an LKQ part, or like kind and quality.
