left and are projecting it on his family, at least the ones in the OP are. What’s the worst thing he’s done? Celebrated a TD against Utah with his brother? Colored his hair? Those are not good reasons to hate someone or call their family trash. It would be stupid to hate Covey for flexing on people. It’s stupid to hate on the Nacuas family because they beat you playing for your rival. And saying his entire family is trash is crossing a line most fans at other schools wouldn’t cross. There’s a difference between rivalry banter (covey is old and small) and getting too personal (that entire family is trash). Maybe it helps he’s been successful here and at the expense of Utah a little bit.

I’m not aware of other schools that have disdain for Samson and Puka. They seem like normal dudes in their 20’s having fun playing football. It’s not a big deal. These Utah fans just love to hate.
