BYU/YSA dating is a unique beast: Some things I noted that I wish we could help the YSA with.

Always a feeling that you can get someone better, I often find guys and girls who are probably a 6/10, but they think that they are an 8/10, and will therefore settle for nothing less than a perfect 10. (I was one of these guys for a couple years).

Lastly, most recently have noted that sometimes you get YSA that swing the pendulum between two extremes:
Date, overdate, and come on WAY too strong.
Frustration, aggravation, refusal to date anymore.

Larger percentage YSA these days not looking to get married. (This is fine by itself, no one should feel forced to marry young)
- But then both genders not looking to get married still go on dates and want to have short term relationships which inhibits long term marriages from forming between those looking to get married.
