Seriously, it's one of the few unpleasant things about this place. I can honestly say that having dogs has enhanced my life. And it's taught my kids to be better people.
Every time I am out walking our dogs, I get a chuckle about the guy here who was completely worked up that dogs pee on his grass. The hill he chooses to die on isn't dogs being off leashes. It isn't dogs pooping, and their owners ignoring it. It isn't dogs biting. He has been able to manage when every dog he's ever owned pees. If you're walking your completely friendly dog on a leash, and you're obviously carrying bags to immediately clean up if the dog poops, you are still a lazy, bad pet owner if your dog squats to pee on his lawn.
Sphincter tightness level = infinity. 🙂
