Be one of the main reasons people don’t like dogs. Because bad owners can mean a “bad” dog or one that is a nuisance to neighbors/neighborhood.
I don’t get dog hate either. They’re super forgiving even when humans have treated them really crappy. A well trained, well bred and well managed dog is very rarely if ever a problem and is a great companion along with a great worker if trained for a specific job
