The conference was in this beautiful old building with majestic painted ceilings of something mythological.
"What are these paintings of, do you know? Is this something in Roman history or mythology I can read up on?" I asked her.
"What, where? Oh up there? I don't know, that's not that impressive." She said, obviously just not impressed with the beautiful building we were in.
"Where are you from?" she asked.
"I'm from Utah."
"Oh, Bryce Canyon! That's the most amazing place in the world!"
"Oh, I have never been there" (I have now, but not at the time).
And we had the realization of how much we take for advantage the stuff right around us where we live.
