IIRC, they agreed to pay him ~15% of his final salary for 8 years after he retires to be minimally involved in the program. They also give all his grandkids free tuition, and if he leaves before the end of his contract, he gets $3M/year until the end of 2027.
Like he could walk away today and get paid $3M/year through 2027, then $500-600k/year for the next 8 years for doing basically nothing. I believe if he takes another college coaching job, that disappears.
