I’ve been present enough times at LES over the last 3 decades to hear some pretty dodgy stuff being said by one or more of my fellow BYU fans. Some of the ugliest stuff you can imagine that I will not be repeating here. I sure hope any of the visiting fans that heard the same stuff don’t share your opinion on these type of things and paint the entire BYU fanbase with such a broad brush.

I remember being embarrassed and angry but I knew these people didn’t represent BYU as a whole. The USC administration did the right thing by apologizing. Kudos to the BYU fans that can be the bigger person, accept the apology and move forward.
