Believe that their team is better than others, especially their rival? In our case, it’s true, but I still think most fans of any team do this. I’ve always said BYU is the only team to root for. And we are better if you count everything, especially the fan base. Do you think that Utah could get 50% attendance at a USC game @USC? No, of course not. They can’t even do it just down the road @BYU. Utah does not have much on BYU, it’s just nice to have recent evidence to point to, which is maybe why there is the “interesting” self-confident nature of recent expressions of fandom on our part. I am always fine saying we have a better program through the years, and definitely right now. I don’t personally need recent scoreboard evidence, but it is really nice to have.

“Being here” is not the issue. It is the open mocking of BYU on CB, like VirginiaUte did today. This is not okay.

BYU fans have to deal with obnoxious utes at work and elsewhere. CB should be free of the stupid kind of ute trolls.
