Try an ozone generator. It may remove/oxidize whatever is getting to her.
Read up on safe usage and right size for the job. Don't be in the house while running and ventilate well after.

Not too expensive on Amazon.

I've used one several times after painting. It pretty much removes all odor to my nose.
