The BYU offense is ranked #17 nationally in offensive efficiency. It's early and
Kenpom takes time to adjust and be accurate but IMO the offense isn't bad - 3 point shooting is bad but the team is good at getting good shots at the basket and elite at offensive rebounding.
BYU has one of the slowest tempos in the country which means the total points scored is low but that doesn't really matter since efficiency is the key.
