How do you know there would have been a reception at all?
...My point is that our defense had anything past a first down covered. If the ball had been thrown 2 yards deeper, it would have been batted away. We made a great stop.

we won because they ran a route a yard short. how people are happy with them scoring at will the 2nd half is beyond me

Scoring at will? You must have missed the punt we forced and when we forced them to turn it over on downs.

Nobody on here has said that we are happy that USC scored 17 points in the second half, but that's not scoring at
