Covey should finish his PhD this summer and won’t be back
Mika Tafua is gone
They could lose Thomas
Davis and McKinney (safeties) both gone
Ford and Bam (starting OL) gone

The good:
Defense besides guys mentioned is mostly coming back and lots of promising LBs on the roster
Couple really good RBs coming in who should be ready to contribute early

The unknown:
Special teams was miserable and they need a new kicker and punter
QB depth is unknown in terms of game experience

I think it will be a very similar Utah team to previous years. Good enough to win unless a dominant USC emerges. Still lots to figure out.
