Nope. For the same reason BYU doesn’t leapfrog Baylor, even if Baylor loses.
Absolutely no one who watched the BYU-Utah game OR the BYU-Baylor game could realistically rank Utah over BYU or BYU over Baylor, unless there was a huge discrepancy in records or other common opponents.
The dominant win of BYU over Utah was equivalent to the dominant win of Baylor over BYU.
Honestly, I’m not even mad about it. I might be a little worried with how we’ve been decimated by injury at what a wake forest, Notre dame, or OkSt would do to us.
