While I’m sure there are some ultra-obsessive Utah fans that will still frown upon their season overall just because they lost to BYU, the Ute fans in my life (friends and family) are over the moon at the opportunity to face Oregon again with the possibly of ending up in the Rose Bowl. The loss to BYU nearly 3 months ago is merely a blip on the radar at this point.

That’s how it should be btw- for both fan bases. It was SUCH a big deal to break the losing streak vs Utah, but I enjoyed that game for a week and then watched BYU move on to bigger and better things. Utah won’t occupy much of my mental bandwidth until we face them again in a few years.
