Utah youth and high school football is developing a ton of big time players right now. Obviously this includes a lot of LDS and other kids who are familiar with what the BYU culture is. Point is, we can't get them all. There simply is not enough scholarships and roster spots available to pitch serious offers to all the great talent there is to be found in Utah and elsewhere in the country. And that may have come into play here because from what I understand from past posts, this is one kid that would have been a good get, but there wasn't a very hard core push happening for him because there's a scholarship crunch with other comparable talent BYU has coming its way.
