Is tanking worth it? Which teams, in any sport, have done it successfully? It seems to work well in the MLB, but you can
stash a bunch of young players in your farm system to develop.
I wouldn’t call the Sixers tank job a success. Almost any team can avoid tanking and still become a playoff team that never makes the finals tanking, which is all the Sixers are today.
I’m not really sure what OKC’s master plan is right now - and I don’t think they know either.
