The suns did basically the same thing and while they are great now, it’s almost strictly because they stopped tanking. James Jones went about as opposite as you can from what the previous regime did and turned the suns into title contenders very quickly.

Those years as an awful team sucked. When you almost have to root for your team to lose games? Terrible. I’d never do it, but I’d support Thunder fans giving up on their team and finding a new one. I really think the league should step in as it’s embarrassing what OKC is doing. I have no clue what their plan is, but I don’t think it’ll work.

I do still think they should stop tying draft order to record.
